Tantric Sacred Activists

When the individual awakens to the body through Tantric practice, one encounters what is incomplete and requires cultivation to bring to completion. One may work for years on personal evolution. Eventually, this evolutionary process moves outward into relationship, group, community and world.

Tantric Sacred Activism is love in action in the world. It may take a variety of forms:

Support for orphanages
Working for legal reforms around sexuality
Political activism to bring an end to the victimization of women
Ending world hunger
Making Tantra available to the public

The Tantric Sacred Activist live a life of service to their divinely inspired vision.

Tantric Activists are Tantrikas who have taken their Tantra a step further and choose to live in service of the Divine Mother on a global scale. According to Andrew Harvey when he spoke on Sexual Liberation, Tantra, Sacred Activism and the Transformation of the World, it is not the mystics nor the activists that will save the planet, since they cannot bear the pain of facing what is happening in the world.

The mystics tend to run towards their addiction to transcendence. The activists tend to appease themselves through immersion in activity.

Tantrikas have a unique awareness given by the Divine Feminine. They are gifted with the ability to feel the pain of of the Divine Mother about what is happening to the planet, but they are also gifted with her strength. Tantric Sacred Activists undertake the healing of the planet not as an avoidance, but because it is what they must do given their awareness.
