Tantric Family

Tantric Family is term applied to a small group of Tantrikas for whom the concept of fidelity governs their group rather than simply a couple. Rather than being bonded as couples, the Tantric Family is bonded as a group, and issues normally dealt with in the context of a pair are dealt with in the group as a whole.

 

The dynamics that emerge are unheard of in conventional discussions of relationships. An acquintance of ours said, "Imagine you are being served your meals in prison. You and your cellmate eat the same thing day after day. You have no experience of fine dining with a loving family of gourmet cooks. Now imagine we are talking about sex instead of food."

 

From the perspective of Tantric Family, it is no mystery why conventional marriages fail. They are simply an unworkable artificial construct that society holds as normal. While a lifelong commitment to one other person might be perfect for 5% of the population, the reality is that most of us find the need to change partners eventually.

 

The Tantric Family endeavors to keep a lifetime commitment with several people, with each member of the family working to keep all the relationships with all the other members fresh in an ever-changing, ever-growing dynamic.
