Sacred Space

Sacred Space means several things in the world of Tantra. In the fullest sense, Sacred Space is the space in which one becomes present to the eternal divine. This may manifest in a variety of ways:

• One feels an abiding sense of spirit in daily life

• One sets aside a specific place and time for daily spiritual practice

• One "sets the stage" lovemaking by preparing for a visit by a God or Goddess

• One is present to the God or Goddess within another being

• One honors another by listening deeply from the heart without judgement

Any or all of these may come into play in the creation of Sacred Space.
